Stephanie grew up in Kindersley, Saskatchewan where she began her fitness journey as a tiny dancer at the age of 5. After many years of ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, classical, and pointe she began assistant teaching classes throughout high school and into her early 20’s. Following high school, she moved to Saskatoon and wanted to try something new for fitness, so as a dare, enrolled in a pole fitness class with one of her new friends from university! It was love at first class and within a year she began her journey as an instructor! Since then, Stephanie has instructed pole fitness classes on and off and also trained in aerial hoop (lyra), hammock, and silks! After years of taking and teaching group fitness classes and training in yoga and aerial disciplines, Stephanie developed a desire to learn more about the mind/body connection which led to completing her 200hr Yoga Teacher Training in 2016 and 85hr Prenatal Yoga Teacher training in 2017. Her favourite part of being a yoga/fitness instructor is sharing in the growth that occurs for participants as their confidence and self-love increases! When she is not in the studio, Stephanie enjoys cooking, practicing arm balances, spending time at the lake with friends and family, CrossFit and training aerial disciplines! She moved to Airdrie with her boyfriend in the fall of 2016 and is looking forward to getting more involved in the community and meeting all of the beautiful faces at oranj!
