After earning a degree in Physical Health and Education with Bio minor at Queen’s University Lisa continued to coach various sports, as well as competing successfully with her team in group-fitness competitions.
This health-forward life style continued providing a career in health club management, at such centers as Golds Gym and Bally Matrix.
With the inherent belief of constant and never ending improvement Lisa chose a career path change to a Registered Dental Hygienist, a move across country to Penticton BC with her soon to be life-mate. They settled here into a more outdoor, hiking, camping lifestyle, raising two athletic children.
After many years of being removed from group fitness activities, Lisa was re-ignited into helping develop a dryland training program for the local competitive figure-skating club where her daughter enjoyed competing. Similarly, being active with the off-ice training of her son’s hockey goal tending pursuits.
Lisa continues to nurture and grow her non-compulsive desire for excellence…which continues to develop a new learning process for “high performance aging”. This path is now emerging into the fitness leadership role again both personally and with her fellow health enthusiasts… “enjoying the process of being the best that you can be”.
