Kristen first started teaching fitness classes in 2008, as she was drawn to the energy and music. Throughout her education, she continued to teach fitness classes and performed in dance alongside taking two degrees — a B.A. in the Arts and then a B.Sc. in the Earth Sciences. After graduating, she moved to Vancouver and followed her passion to pursue a career in health and fitness… because, well, life’s short.
Kristen is a Certified Personal Trainer and Pre- and Post-Natal Specialist, as well as a Certified Health Coach and Sport and Exercise Nutrition Coach. She’s taught pilates, barre, kettlebell, suspension, TRX, cycle, and endless styles of cardio and strength. She also developed Vancouver’s first trampoline cardio class, and is beyond excited to bring it to Oranj!
In her free time, Kristen can be found tinkering in the kitchen, running along the river, or dashing off to the mountains to go hiking or skiing. She truly believes that great posture, a healthy heart, and a strong body are empowering and essential to a happy, balanced life!
