After the birth of her two girls, Karen found herself hooked on workout videos she would do the evening after the kids were asleep. She became fascinated by the noticeable changes in her endurance and was addicted to the challenge of ‘making it through’ an entire workout.
Recognizing that early onset of heart disease was a trend in her family, she became determined to disrupt the pattern by making a personal commitment to creating longevity in her life through fitness. Her desire to be an active participant in the lives of her children while instilling healthy behaviors is her driving motivation.
