Amber began her love of movement as a dancer at age 3, a passion that has persisted and deepened over the years and that fully blossomed when she discovered yoga. Her curiosity of the body, the way it moves, its capabilities, not just physically but mentally, truly amaze and inspire her. Amber has been disciplined in her Ashtanga based practice, cultivating and nurturing her learning for over 15 years. She completed her 200-hour teacher training in 2018/2019 at her home yoga studio in Calgary, Yogadotcalm. She is always seeking out and pursuing new ways to learn and grow and her thirst for knowledge is seemingly never quenched. She very recently moved to the Kootenay’s with her partner to follow their dream of living closer to the things they love: skiing, hiking, camping and being an active part of a smaller and closer community. She is exceptionally excited to join our yoga community where she can’t wait to share her knowledge and inspire self-inquiry and growth in her students. Amber brings a practice infused with a fun, flowing exploration of postures influenced by the passions of dance and whole-body movement, and grounded in an inward focus of breath-body connection, inspired and informed by her Ashtanga roots.
